What a "skill" is, in plain English
Claude is one of the leading AI assistants — think of it as a very capable new employee who's brilliant but knows nothing about your business on day one. A skill is a training packet I build for it: your price sheet, your quote template, the way you word things with customers, the rules you follow, the examples of past work you're proud of.
Once the skill is built, anyone on your team can ask for the finished product — "write the quote for the Hendersons' deck job" — and get a draft that sounds like you, follows your pricing, and uses your format. You review and send. The hour of drafting becomes two minutes of checking.

How the build works
We pick one task that eats your time. I gather the raw material — templates, examples, pricing, your preferences — build the skill, and then we test it together on real work until the output passes your bar, not mine. You get the skill installed and a short walkthrough so your whole team can use it.
Good to know: skills live in your own Claude account, so you own them. They can also be bundled — many clients start with one, see the hours come back, and add more through the consulting retainer.
